Hi everyone, hope your week is going well so far!
Lancôme has sent me their recently released Lollipop collection to share with you. They have created these candy themed sets to help raise funds for the Lollipop Theater Network. They are a nonprofit dedicated to bringing the magic of movies currently in theaters to children confined to hospitals nationwide due to chronic or life-threatening illnesses.
Each set is limited edition and comes in 3 shades, Ma Cherie Cherry, Mademoiselle Grape and Bon Bon Strawberry and includes a Color Fever Gloss and a Le Vernis nail polish.
The lip gloss and nail polish comes with a soft black satchel with the Lancôme rose on it.
Ma Cherie Cherry, 3 coats and no topcoat. This is a bright red jelly, it reminds me of a maraschino cherry that comes on top of a sundae! There is a hint of VNL with 3 coats. This one is my favorite, you guys know how much I love reds!
The brushes are slightly wide and very soft, which spread out on my nail and I was able to paint my smaller nails in just 1 swipe. The formula on this was thin, which was perfect for this glossy finish.
First of all, I just have to say that I have never taken lip swatches before, this was a difficult task for me so please excuse the quality.
My very first impression about this gloss is, it's not sticky! I buy lipglosses like they are going out of style and getting a sticky one is just the worst. This feels nice and smooth on my lips. It is also very lighty scented of roses.
Next up is Mademoiselle Grape which is a reddish purple creme, this is 2 coats with Seche Vite. This was a little too thick for me so after my first coat I added a few drops of thinner and my second coat applied fine.
I enjoyed this color very much, and I wore it for 4 days. Here is the day 4 picture, there is hardly any tipwear and not a single chip.
Bon Bon Strawberry, 3 coats with Seche Vite. A bright pink creme.
I love the Lancôme rose, and thought it was a shame I covered it up with my finger so I used silver metallic acrylic paint and drew my own in. My lamplight kept making a glare on my rose so I had to throw in a flash picture!
This lip gloss is my favorite, it's a creamy pale pink. The other 2 are very pigmented and this one is more on the sheer side.
The sets sell for $35 each and $5 of every sale will go to the Lollipop Theater Network. You can purchase these at Nordstroms now, and it should be available next month at the Lancôme website.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous shade for the nails and lips. You know I have to go check these out. I just spent a ton of money at Nordstroms online. Your lip swatches are beautiful. They all look gorgeous on you. The first shade is my favorite. I thought Lancome added a decal but here you did the rose freehanded. You are amazing Kae!
