Oh boy, now I show you my ultra messy nail spot lol. I have sabotaged our dining table and it looked like a gigantic rack of nail polish exploded and scattered bottles everywhere. I needed help!
I went and got a "Melmer", it's called that I guess because it's the Michael's alternative to Ikea's Helmer. I got it for %60 off!
It's still messy but a lot of my bottles are neatly inside! So anyway I woke up yesterday and saw this! Alex painted this HK on it while I was sleeping as a surprise.
I think he did a great job! Apparently he is not done and there is more to come. I am so excited! He used my acrylic paints to do it too haha. I went to the Dollar Tree recently and found a bunch of the Colorama 3 packs so I got some as you can see in these pictures.
I am so messy! What does your "nail station" look like?!

Ooh, I was supposed to pick another one of these up today and didn't! I LOVE your little Hello Kitty, how sweet was that!
ReplyDeleteOh, nice on the Coloramas! I just went to my DT and didn't really see anything good yet. I don't think they've done much restocking on polish recently.
I'm messy too! Have you seen my twitpics of my horrid desk, COVERED in polish! Haha!
Omg! Hello Kitty! That is so perfect!
ReplyDeleteNicole - haha yes! it's so hard to keep the bottles from appearing everywhere!
ReplyDeletePerryPie - Thanks! :D)
WOW! that hello kitty is so cute...*wink*
ReplyDeleteohh my nail station is so worst.. i only have a long black table that bought in Ikea and underneath the table is where i put my nail polish box...have a great weekend sweety.. xoxo
What a nice surprise! I am going to have to check out Michael's now 'cause I don't live near an Ikea lol!
ReplyDeletewow that's amazing, the hello kitty looks like a stick on...LOL
ReplyDeleteCute!! Love the Kitty, I totally thought it was a sticker *_* Your nail station is nice and clean compared to mine >_<
ReplyDeleteI don't live near a Ikea either. I had no idea Michel's sold something like this. Does it hold the same amount as the Helmer's? I think I'd need 10 of those unless they hold a load of bottles. I have my stash in two plastic 6 drawer chests. One is good and the other is crappy. The first one I bought about 6 or so years ago. Both the same brand but one is newer and not made as well. The first three drawers open up fine and the next three don't. I love the Hello Kitty. Don't forget to show up when it's completed.
ReplyDeleteHello Kitty on the Melmer!?! I'm jealous. He's a keeper :)
ReplyDeleteI love that hello kitty! That is what the lock screen on my Blackberry is!
ReplyDeleteHi Kae,
ReplyDeleteHow are you, thanx for your comment the other day ive missed you aswell =p
I love the new 'Melmer' thats so cute I need one of them,my polishes are in one of them plastic draw stands but there so heavy the draw set looks like the leaning tower of pizza cause the weight has snapped the wheels lol!
super cute!
ReplyDeleteMine was all in different boxes and i'm finding small cupboard like yours to store..
ReplyDeleteOh the HK is so cute~ ^^
Mine were all in boxes until I recently moved them into a rolling 3 drawer cart thing. He did a great job on the Hello Kitty.
ReplyDeleteHoly dice!
ReplyDeleteI am so envious! The hello kitty is so adorable. Talking about nail station, mine is starting to overflow! I need to think of a new storage method now.
ReplyDeleteWow, a hand-painted HK! How sweet of him! The painting was so well done that I thought at first it was a sticker. Silly me!
